Six small adventures.
One exciting start.
Our planned pilot brings together two lessons from each learning world. These lessons are in development and are not yet available to watch or buy.
Make tens and ones
Academic · Build numbers with simple paper materials.
Measure and compare
Academic · Turn everyday objects into a measuring adventure.
A map of my space
Cultural · Discover how symbols help us describe a place.
Patterns and their stories
Cultural · Look closer at patterns and create your own.
Balance and control
Sports · Explore steady, comfortable movement.
Roll, aim and cooperate
Sports · Practise gentle rolling and taking turns.
Become a
pattern detective.
Look around together. Can you find something that repeats—a colour, a shape or a sound?
A parent-guided idea using paper and pencils. No photo or personal information needs to be shared.
Look. Notice. Create.
- Find a repeating pattern nearby.
- Describe the part that repeats.
- Draw your own pattern with two shapes.
Need a starting idea?
Try circle, square, circle, square. Ask: “What comes next? How do you know?” Then let your child invent a different pattern for you to continue.
Make it a little more challenging
Try two circles and one square. Repeat the group, then leave a space for someone else to complete. Explain your thinking together.
Less guessing.
More discovering.
Our pilot is being designed around short demonstrations, practical activities and useful parent notes.
Choose a learning adventure
Start with an interest and a comfortable level of challenge.
Make space to try
Gather the materials, pause the screen and explore together.
Celebrate the thinking
Ask what your child noticed, tried or would do differently.
How can I help without taking over?
Give your child time to try. Ask an open question such as “What have you noticed?” Offer a small hint when needed, and leave room for their own approach.
Why include practical activities?
Activities give children a chance to explore the idea for themselves. Use the video as a starting point, then make time for conversation and discovery away from the screen.
Who is the pilot for?
We are planning our first lessons for ages 6–9 with a parent or caregiver nearby. Activities will need to be adapted to each child’s interests and abilities.
Can families outside the school use BMP DIGITAL?
Our ambition is to welcome families everywhere. The first pilot will be small, with wider availability announced as the service develops.
Can I subscribe now?
Not yet. Membership prices, access periods and cancellation terms will be published when the pilot is ready. No payment is collected on this draft page.
Will General Q and A stay free?
Yes. General Q and A is planned as our free discovery area. Paid learning programmes will be clearly identified before purchase.
